Avoiding Spam Filters
We monitor all outgoing emails for spam and abuse. If your message is flagged by our system or reported by your respondents, we reserve the right to suspend your access to email features.
How to Avoid Spam Filters and Abuse Reports
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information on the use policy for tools on the site.
Also, we recommend you follow these guidelines:
- Only send emails to contacts who have given informed consent to receive emails from you.
- Use a clean email address (personal or work) to send emails.
- Allow users to unsubscribe from emails.
- Describe the email content in the subject line.
- Explain why you're emailing a contact in the introduction of an email.
- Avoid spelling and grammar mistakes.
- Do not write in all caps
- Do not use words like free, win, prize, money, or bet in the subject line or email content
- Avoid using exclamation points (!), percent (%), or currency symbols ($, £, €)
- Don't offer prizes or incentives in the email subject
If you're sending emails to contacts that are part of your organization (and so you share the same email domain) we recommend contacting your IT team (or whoever manages your email server) to whitelist our email domain. This will ensure that emails are always being delivered to your contacts.
