Menu Content Block
Use the Menu content block to add a menu to your emails. This can contain links to your website, landing pages, or other online content you want to share.
In this article, you'll learn how to add a menu to your email and how to customize its design.
Add a menu to your email
To add a Menu content block to your email, follow these steps:
- Click the Content tab in the left sidebar
- Click and drag the Menu content block into your email
- When you see a bold blue line, release the left mouse button to drop the button into place
Add menu items
To add items to your menu:
- Click the Menu content block in your email
- Go to the Menu Items section of the options slideout
- Click Add New Menu Items
- Edit the Text field to change the text displayed for the menu item
- Paste a link into the URL field to redirect contacts upon click
- Use the Target dropdown to choose whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab.
Edit styles and settings
To customize the styles and settings, click the Menu content block in the email builder to open the options slideout.
You'll have access to the below options:
Styles
- Font Family: Use the dropdown to select a font for your menu items.
- Font Size: Use the + and - icons to increase and decrease menu item text size or enter a number.
- Text Color: Change the color of menu item text that isn't linked to another page.
- Link Color: Change the color of menu items that are linked to external pages.
- Align: Align menu items to the left, right, centre, or justify.
- Layout: Use the dropdown to display your menu items horizontally or vertically.
- Separator: Input a character(s) to act as a separator between menu items. We'd recommend using the following characters:

- Padding: Customize padding inside of the menu. Increasing the padding will increase the size of the button. Enable More Options to customize each side individually.
Responsive design
- Hide on desktop (only shown when in the desktop view editor): Hides the block when a contact is viewing on a desktop.
- Hide on mobile (only shown when in the mobile view editor): Hides the block when a contact is viewing on a mobile device.
